Fiscal Analyst
The New York City Department of Investigation ("DOI") is one of the oldest law enforcement agencies in the country with a mission of combating municipal corruption. It serves the people of New York City by acting as an independent and nonpartisan watchdog for New York City government, City agencies, and City employees, vendors with City contracts, individuals and entities that receive City funds. The Department of Investigation is seeking a Fiscal Analyst with analytical, problem solving and creative thinking skills, to assist in the day-to-day administration of the operating budgets. The Fiscal Analyst will report directly to the Director of Finance. The Fiscal Analyst will often have to use independent initiative and judgment to solve problems, complete projects and meet tight deadlines. He / she will be responsible for complying with OMB requirements. The responsibilities of the Fiscal Analyst may include, but not be limited to the following functions, with some latitude for independent judgment :
