Food & Beverage / Banquet Manager who can oversee Banquet Events. From business events in our Ballroom to weddings on the Beach. This manager will be responsible to managing all aspects of a banquet or event, including set up, food presentation, serving and cleanup while focusing on detail and quality presentation. This role will also be involved in overseeing our restaurants.

Responsibilities :
Manage shifts which include daily decision making and planningcoordinate with clients to understand their requirements and expectations for the eventcoordinate event operation including food & beverage service, set up and breakdown of event.Train hourly staff one on one to help improve guest experiencePerform EOM liquor / beer / wine inventories with accuracyUnderstand flavors, aromas, and characteristics of food ingredients and wines to ensure the highest standard in guest experienceManage on-the-fly requests with ease and poise creating a calm and positive work environmentFoster an environment of continuous learning, open and honest feedback, and corrective action as neededActively work the floor with an ability to anticipate opportunities to improve service, help the team, and create efficiencies in table turnsWork directly with the kitchen team to evaluate prep levels and food quality prior to each shiftQualifications :
2+ years of full-service, high-volume restaurant / banquet management experienceDemonstrated working understanding of business operations and financialsStrong communication skillsDependable, reliable, and motivatedAble to work ten-hour plus shifts, plus ability to stand, sit or walk for extended periods of timeMust be able to work closing shifts, weekends, and holidays as neededThe company also conducts post-offer employment verifications, motor vehicle, and criminal background checks.
