Job Schedule : 9 / 80 : Employees work 9 out of every 14 days - totaling 80 hours worked - and have every other Friday off
Job Description :
Duties include managing the development and maintenance of complex program schedules including resource loading and Earned Value Analysis. This position also supports the programs in developing plans and integrating inputs from all programs. Qualified candidate will interface with all elements of the program team to develop and support regular maintenance of the program IMS. This individual will perform schedule analysis in support of assigned programs and projects. Ensure major projects and program schedules and plans are integrated across company functional groups including finance, engineering, material, manufacturing, and quality. Track plans and schedules, perform risk analysis, identify and resolve critical path and network logic conflicts. Utilize Critical path, Driving Path, Variance metrics, milestone charts, Earned Value Management and other project management techniques to gauge progress and identify performance variances to facilitate focus and intervention on critical areas. Ensure compliance with internal program procedures and project control system guidelines per DECM metrics. May lead or participate in scheduling status reviews.
Essential Functions :
Qualifications : Bachelor's Degree and a minimum of 2 years of prior relevant experience; or Graduate Degree and a minimum of 1 years of prior related experience; or, in lieu of a degree, a minimum of 6 years of prior related experience
Preferred Additional Skills : Working knowledge of Planning & Scheduling Excellence Guide (PASEG), Latest Version, EVMS Standard (EIA 748-D), Integrated Product and Process Development (IPPD), and Integrated Program Management Report (IPMR) strongly desired. Monte Carlo Risk Analysis (Schedule Risk Analysis). Agile Development methodologies associated with EVMS. Critical thinking and problem solving. Attention to detail and quality of product deliverables. EVMS - Earned Value Management Systems. Familiarity with scheduling ad-on tools such as OPDEC, Structured Solutions - SSI tools management, RiskyProject or similar scheduling support software. Experience with cost and schedule integration software. Experience in macro development. Ability to work with a team and on their own. Minimum of 2 years of MS Project Experience. Minimum of 2 years of Milestones Professional Experience. Experience creating and / or maintaining an Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) and any Supporting Schedules on assigned projects / programs. Experience creating and presenting project-level reports, presentations, and deliverables that reflect risk and status to program management and senior management relating to the IMS
