Position Overview :

As a Business Excellence Manufacturing and Process Engineer II, you will play a key role in driving operational excellence across high-speed food and beverage manufacturing lines. You will lead process optimization initiatives, support strategic equipment upgrades, and ensure compliance with food safety and quality standards. This role requires a strong foundation in continuous improvement methodologies, cross-functional collaboration, and a proactive approach to problem-solving in a fast-paced, regulated environment.

Responsibilities :

• Lead cross-functional teams in the identification, development, and implementation of process improvements to enhance throughput, reduce waste, and ensure food safety compliance.
• Develop and standardize best practices for high-speed packaging and processing equipment, including sanitation protocols and changeover optimization.
• Analyze production data and KPIs to identify trends, root causes, and opportunities for improvement using Six Sigma and Lean tools.
• Collaborate with Quality, Maintenance, and Operations teams to ensure equipment reliability and process consistency.
• Support capital projects, including equipment selection, vendor evaluation, and commissioning of new lines or automation systems.
• Mentor and train junior engineers and technicians on process engineering principles and continuous improvement tools.
• Maintain and update technical documentation, including SOPs, control plans, FMEAs, and process flow diagrams.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements (e.g., FDA, USDA, HACCP, GMP) and internal quality standards.

Hours, Location and Pay :

We offer a competitive base pay rate and comprehensive benefits package for full-time employees. This role works standard business hours Monday – Friday at either our Little Chute or Neenah, WI manufacturing facility. Occasional off-shift or weekend hours may be required to support business needs.
