Job Title : Part-Time Instructor, Private Music Lessons (NWSA)

Location : New World School of the Arts

Regular / Temporary : Temporary

Full / Part Time : Part-Time

Position Overview

The Part-Time Instructor will teach private music lessons.

Responsibilities :

Teaches studio classes and arranges master classes
Participates in student juries and recitals
Evaluates and advises students
Maintains accurate records and grades
Participates in auditions
Performs other duties as assigned

Qualifications :

Master's degree in discipline or a Master's degree from a regionally accredited institution and 18 graduate credit hours in discipline from an accredited institution

All educational degrees must be from a regionally accredited institution

Teaching experience at a college or community college level preferred

Experience in successfully teaching advanced music students

Ability to demonstrate an advanced level of performance and proficiency on instrument

Ability to work well with students, faculty, and staff members

Must possess excellent organizational skills
