Position Details
- Salary : 23.68 - 38.63 Hourly
- Shift : Days, 8-hour shifts
- Status : PRN
RANGE REFLECTS SPAN OF PROFESSIONAL LADDER.
Reporting to the Nurse Manager, this position , under the supervision of an R.N., assists physicians and nurses in preparing for surgery and during surgical procedures;
and performs related duties as required.
Ability to meet all job & physical requirements as outlined in job description or as agreed through a work place accommodation.
- Current BLS
- Previous Surgical Technician or OB Tech experience in an acute care setting is preferred.
- Six months operating room experience with a completion of formal Surgical Tech. Training Programs preferred.
- One year recent experience as a unit secretary preferred.
- Completion of Terminology Course preferred.
- Prior computer experience highly desirable.
- Requirement for Surgical Tech II in the Operating Room : One year of experience and Surgical Tech Certification (CST) required.
- Requirement for Surgical Tech II in the GI Lab : Two years of experience and a GI Certification (SGNA in lieu of a CST) required.
Compensation Information :
$23.68 / hourly - $23.68 / hourly
Starting At : 23.68 hourly
Up To : 38.63 hourly
