Android Device Project Coordinator
- This role is part time (20 hours / week) position. Hours are flexible and pay is $31.00 per hour.
In this role, youll support ground operations by managing core parts of our mapping program, including the device and driver lifecycle, logistics, and communications.
As a Project Coordinator, youll blend technical know how with people skills. Youll ensure devices are deployed and maintained smoothly, troubleshoot issues hands on, and streamline processes to keep operations running efficiently. Youll also be a key point of contact for drivers, providing clear communication and reliable support.
Were looking for someone whos detail oriented, resourceful, and ready to take ownership in a fast paced environment. The role includes the occasional driving around the Inland Empire and requires the ability to lift up to 25 lbs.
Key Responsibilities :
Device Preparation and Deployment
Prepare and configure devices for deployment, including software setup, kitting, and serializationEnsure device readiness and sufficient inventory to support market launchesDriver Communication and Support
Manage communication with drivers throughout the device lifecycle, including recruitment, onboarding, engagement, and returnsProvide direct support for device related issues, such as installation, login, and usage questionsDevelop and implement strategies to re-engage inactive drivers and recover devicesInventory and Logistics Management
Maintain accurate tracking of device inventory across multiple locations and with driversCoordinate shipping, returns, and recovery processes, ensuring timely reconciliation of device statusesPick up and drop off packages at a warehouse in Ontario, California.Operational Excellence and Reporting
Collect and analyze data to track performance and inform decision makingIdentify and recommend process improvements and system enhancements to increase efficiency and effectivenessExperience and Skills
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast paced environment with a roll up your sleeves attitudeStrong technical comfort with Android operating systemsProven experience in operations, logistics, or project management, ideally within a hardware or device centric programProficiency in managing inventory, including physical tracking, digital record keeping, and coordinating shipmentsDemonstrated ability to communicate clearly and effectively with diverse stakeholders, including drivers and internal teamsFamiliarity with operational tools such as JiraStrong problem solving skills, with an ability to identify root causes and propose effective solutions for operational challengeComfortable with new technologies and adaptable to evolving systems and processesValid drivers license, access to a reliable car, and willingness to drive as part of the roleSpanish language skills a plusCompensation : $35 - $31.00 per hour
