Job Title : Forklift Operator

We are seeking a skilled Forklift Operator to join our team at a large paper recycling plant. You will primarily operate a sit-down forklift for the majority of your shift. This role involves working in a non-climate-controlled environment, with responsibilities including loading and unloading trailers and maintaining cleanliness by managing recycling tasks.

Responsibilities :

• Operate sit-down forklift for 90% of the shift.
• Load and unload trailers efficiently.
• Perform cleaning duties, including emptying boxes and using the compactor.
• Ensure safety protocols are followed in all operations.

Work Environment :

Work in one of the largest recycling plants in Omaha, where the environment is not climate-controlled. Be prepared for varying temperatures, with winter being very cold and summer very hot. Forklifts are equipped with heaters and doors for colder months, and air conditioning will be available by September. Jeans and steel-toe boots are required attire.

Job Type & Location :

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Omaha, Nebraska.

Pay and Benefits :

The pay range for this position is $19.09 - $19.09 / hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
