Description
The Public Mental Health Partnership at UCLA (PMHP) serves as a California Center of Excellence (COE) under the BH-CONNECT Initiative, providing training, consultation, and evaluations, focused on Assertive and Forensic Assertive Community Treatment (ACT & FACT).
Under the direction of PMHP leadership, you will create dynamic online learning content and systems to support ACT / FACT workforce development, training, coaching, and consultation for providers in California focused on addressing the challenges of adults who are severely impaired by mental health and / or substance use disorders and often experience homelessness or incarceration. You will be a part of a multi-disciplinary team composed of subject matter experts, mental health clinicians, trainers, programmers, and fidelity reviewers. Responsibilities include the development of mental-health themed training courses and materials informed by strong knowledge of instructional design principles and practices (e.g. ADA compliance, learning theories, interactive training and learning design, online / e-learning design principles, distance learning, instructor-led training, self-paced instruction, and evaluation methods). Duties and tasks will include :

Pay Range : $68,800.00 - $141,000.00 annually.
Qualifications
Required :
Bachelor's degree in educational technology, instructional design, curriculum and instruction, or other closely related field and two years of experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Minimum of two (2) years working in online learning platforms
Demonstrated ability to direct and / or perform the conversion of live, recorded trainings into the asynchronous format
Strong oral and written communication skills
Excellent organizational skills and demonstrated, strong attention to detail
Technical "hands-on" skills to implement, manage, and customize systems along with a business / strategy perspective
Skill in keeping accurate records
Strong knowledge of instructional design principles and practices, including adult learning theories, interactive training and learning design, on-line / e-learning design principles, distance learning, instructor-led training, self-paced instruction, ADA compliance and evaluation methods
Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects simultaneously in a fast-paced work environment
Proficient in use of Microsoft Office applications
Proficient in use of e-learning software (e.g., Articulate)
Ability to work collaboratively and cross-functionally
Demonstrated ability to conduct resourceful problem solving
Preferred : Master's Degree
Prior professional experience working with content related to mental health, behavioral health, and / or homelessness
Experience editing long-form video content (Training can be provided)
