Thompson First Group is currently seeking a qualified Electro Mechanic for a local client in York, PA. Candidates who have a background working as a Maintenance Mechanic in an industrial setting are encouraged to apply.

Job Summary :

This position is responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing a wide range of electrical and mechanical equipment in a wallpaper factory setting. This role requires a strong understanding of both electrical and mechanical systems, as well as the ability to troubleshoot and solve problems effectively. This position provides strong electrical and mechanical support for in-house repairs, installation, preventative maintenance, etc.

Primary Duties :

• Adhere to all safety regulations and procedures, including lockout / tagout procedures, proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE), and safe handling of tools and equipment.
• Diagnose and repair malfunctions in electrical and mechanical systems, including motors, pumps, conveyors, control systems, wiring, and other industrial equipment.
• Perform routine preventive maintenance tasks to ensure the optimal functioning and longevity of equipment, such as lubrication, cleaning, inspections, and adjustments.

Install new equipment and machinery, including electrical wiring, control panels, conduit, and mechanical components.

Identify opportunities to improve equipment reliability, efficiency, and safety. Suggest and implement solutions to recurring problems.
