Prototype Manager

Job Description

We are currently seeking a Prototyping Manager for one of our clients based in Texas. Our client is an advanced U.S. manufacturer developing high-performance magnetic materials that underpin clean energy, electrification, and automation technologies.

The Prototyping Manager will manage prototype manufacturing operations from concept through production, ensuring quality, efficiency, and alignment with project objectives. This individual will manage and train employees, including hiring, scheduling, and performance evaluations.

Key responsibilities include :

• Provide leadership and guidance to supervisors and their technician teams, ensuring that output, safety, and quality standards are consistently met
• Prepare, handle, and process materials according to standard operating procedures.
• Perform measurements and record process data for analysis.
• Support process trials and experimental runs in collaboration with engineers.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in line with EHS requirements.

The ideal candidate will have 10+ years of experience in a manufacturing or laboratory setting, with exposure to metal or ceramic processing highly desirable. Strong leadership skills, with proven ability to collaborate across departments.
