Job descriptionProvide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as responding to emergency situations as appropriate. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner to help maintain order at the location. Conduct regular and random patrols of the premises and surrounding area to help to deter unwanted activity and identify potential issues. Monitor access points and observe activities throughout the location to help support a secure environment. Document and report any security-related incidents, hazards, or unusual occurrences according to established protocols. Communicate professionally with clients, visitors, and / or residents to provide assistance and information as needed. At least 6 months of security-related experience is required. Proof of high school diploma or GED is required as per client requirements. A guard card or license is preferred. Experience with access control and / or badge systems is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
