Job descriptionProvide customer service to clients, students, staff, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the campus buildings and surrounding areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns. Observe and report any unusual activity, hazards, or maintenance needs within the location to the appropriate personnel. Assist with access control by monitoring entrances and exits, verifying identification as required, and helping to maintain a secure environment. Support campus events and activities by providing a security-related presence and responding to requests for assistance. Work closely with campus staff and Allied Universal team members to address security-related concerns and promote a welcoming environment. A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

As a Security Officer - Unarmed School Patrol Driver in Bronx, NY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Education, and more. As an unarmed patrol officer at a dynamic educational location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents while providing exceptional customer service. This is a driving post, where you will remain visible throughout the campus, respond to situations as needed, and communicate clearly with staff, students, and visitors.
