Travel Nursing Job Details Location : Tuscaloosa, AL 35401 (Alabama nursing jobs) Healthcare Setting : Trauma Surgical Unit - Acute Care Trauma, Ortho, Urology Employment Type : Travel Registered Nurse (RN) Start Date : December 22, 2025 End Date : March 22, 2026 Contract Duration : 13-week travel assignment Shift : 12-hour nights (7 : 00 PM - 7 : 00 AM), every other weekend required Hours per Week : 36 (option for 48 hours / week available) Guaranteed Hours : 36 per week Estimated Weekly Salary Range : $1720 - $1840 Parking : On-site parking available Dress Code : Solid Navy Scrubs Registered Nurse Qualifications Minimum 2 years of RN experience (will consider 18 months with at least 1 year in Med / Surg Telemetry specialty) Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) required Active Registered Nurse license in Alabama or Compact State (no temporary licenses accepted) Current AHA BLS or Red Cross certification Experience with Meditech EMR preferred Willingness to float to other units and hospitals as needed Med / Surg Tele RN Responsibilities Deliver high-quality nursing care to trauma, surgical, orthopedic, and urology patients Maintain a 1 : 6 nurse-to-patient ratio for optimal patient outcomes Collaborate with physicians, hospitalists, and surgical specialists to provide comprehensive clinical support Float to additional units and hospitals within the health system as required Work every other weekend and holidays as needed Accurately document patient care using Meditech EMR Ready to take the next step in your nursing career?
