Sterile Supply Technician 2- Main Campus

Job Description Assures a safe and accurate supply of operative instrumentation to health care team members within the Operating Room setting. This person is responsible for the decontamination of surgical instruments, utensils and other surgical items, preparation amp; packing , processing sterile stores amp; other miscellaneous duties. Position located at University Hospitals. Minimum Education Required Per Classified Civil Svc Specs or equivalent combination of education and experience Required Qualifications Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide whole numbers and to read and write simple sentences; 1 course or 3 months experience in maintenance of surgical instruments and 1 course or 3 months experience in sterilizing techniques; or at least 4 months as Sterile Supply Technician 1.
