Project Manager for General Contractor

Job Title : Construction Project Manager

Southern California-based General Contractor is currently seeking a Construction Project Manager with a minimum of 10 years of retail / restaurant experience and at least 3 years of project management experience, specifically for new construction, site / civil, and tenant improvement projects.

The Project Manager will oversee multiple projects from pre-construction through completion, coordinating with a team of professionals to deliver high-quality results. The ideal candidate should possess excellent organizational and communication skills, with the ability to anticipate project needs, adhere to design intent and deadlines, and manage budgets effectively.

Responsibilities

• Conduct estimates, take-offs, value engineering, and pre-construction activities.
• Allocate subcontracts and purchase orders for vendors and materials.
• Collaborate with owners, construction managers, landlords, architects, engineers, inspectors, and relevant authorities to ensure diligent project execution.
• Develop and maintain project schedules to ensure timely completion.
• Supervise field personnel and evaluate ongoing work.
• Communicate project expectations to ownership, team members, and subcontractors.
• Prepare and submit weekly project reports.
• Manage RFIs and change orders.

Compensation is dependent on experience, ranging from $100k to $140k+.
