Job Overview :

In this role, you will be tasked with delivering comprehensive rehabilitative services to students facing physical, cognitive, or emotional hurdles.
Your chief objective will involve aiding students in developing, recovering, or enhancing their capacity to carry out daily tasks, fostering greater independence and overall well-being.
Key Responsibilities :
Perform thorough evaluations to gauge students' physical, cognitive, sensory, and emotional strengths and limitations.
Devise personalized treatment strategies rooted in assessment outcomes, considering students' aspirations, capabilities, and preferences.
Execute therapeutic interventions, encompassing exercises, activities, and adaptive aids, to bolster functional independence and elevate quality of life.
Offer hands-on therapy and guidance to students to refine their motor skills, coordination, strength, balance, and range of motion.
Educate students, families, and caregivers on effective strategies and techniques for maximizing independence and integrating therapy objectives into everyday routines.
Qualifications :
Possession of a Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctorate degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution.
Current state licensure as an Occupational Therapist or eligibility for licensure.
Sound understanding of human anatomy, physiology, and kinesiology, coupled with insight into diverse physical, cognitive, and emotional conditions and their ramifications on daily functioning.
Demonstrated proficiency in assessing, strategizing, and implementing occupational therapy interventions.
Demonstrated empathy, patience, and awareness of the distinctive needs and obstacles faced by individuals undergoing occupational therapy.
