Overview

Mayfair Animal Hospital & ER is looking for an experienced Veterinary Assistant to join our growing team!

Location : 11637 W. North Ave

Wauwatosa, WI 53226

Compensation : $18-$20 / hour

Hospital hours :

Monday-Sunday 10am-10pm.

Schedule : Can be flexible with either four 10 hour shifts or three 12 hour shifts per week. This role requires select weekend rotation and some mornings / late afternoons.

Mayfair Animal Hospital & ER has been providing quality urgent and routine care for over 10 years. We are currently focused on urgent care, surgical services, advanced imaging (CT) and sick pet visits. We continue to offer wellness visits on a walk-in basis.

Our veterinarians aim to practice high quality medicine and have the tools to provide gold standard care. With in-house laboratory, ultrasound, computed tomography, digital radiography (including digital dental), two surgical suites (one for soft-tissue and one for orthopedics), an oxygen support cage, and a spacious treatment area - we are prepared to care for all of your pet needs.

Job Summary : The Veterinary Assistant aids and supports the medical support team in the operation of an animal facility in accordance with Mission Veterinary Partners (MVP) hospital policy and procedures. The Veterinary Assistant also provides medical care to patients as allowed in the veterinary practice act.
