Medical Assistant Responsibilities...

The Medical Assistant is to support to physicians as they see patients in the outpatient practice setting. The Assistant performs clinical duties under the supervision of the physician, facilitates the movement of patient to and from exam rooms, does various record keeping duties and inputs information into the electronic medical record as needed. The Assistant works at various practice locations as needed.

To qualify you must...

1. At least one year experience working in a medical practice as a Medical Assistant

2. Knowledge of medical terminology and basic clinical skills related to obtaining vital signs

3. Excellent customer service skills

4. Excellent organizational and communication skills

5. Strong computer skills

6. Energetic and positive attitude

7. High school diploma with some college level courses preferred
