State Licensed Literacy Instructor

A company is looking for an Online Adjunct Instructor in Literacy for Elementary Education.

Key Responsibilities

Facilitate weekly main discussion forums to engage students in the online classroom

Adhere to weekly grading requirements, deadlines, and timeframes

Respond to students' questions and emails within the established timeframes

Required Qualifications, Training, and Education

Preferred : Doctorate in Curriculum and Instruction, Instructional Leadership, Learning and Teaching, Teaching Innovation, Literacy, Reading, or related field

Minimum : Master's in Reading, Literacy, Curriculum in Instruction, or related field with two areas of exceptional expertise

Valid state teacher certification in literacy / reading or elementary / secondary education with an endorsement in literacy / reading

Minimum of five years of experience as a classroom teacher, reading specialist, literacy curriculum coach, Title One reading teacher, RTI interventionist, or related position

At least six graduate-level credit hours related to reading assessments or equivalent
