  • Support OSHA compliance and training initiatives related to laboratory operations.
  • Maintain laboratory equipment through quality standards, routine maintenance, and problem resolution.
  • Oversee the Proficiency Testing (PT) Program for assigned sites, ensuring accurate test menus and CLIA certificate compliance.
  • Provide diagnostic testing, staff training for specimen processing, and critical value reporting to clinicians.
  • Foster a respectful and collaborative work environment, aligned with Legacy's mission and care coordination model.
  • Ensure safety and compliance with exposure control plans and participate in ongoing education and safety training.
  • Minimum Qualifications

  • Associate degree in Medical Laboratory Technician MLT(ASCP) / MLS(ASCP) certification or equivalent.
  • CPR / BLS training is required.
