MEMBERSHIP MANAGER

Position Overview
The Membership Manager serves as the key staff person involved in management and execution of membership strategy, recruitment and prospect development activities including processing membership applications and new members as well as record maintenance of existing members. The Manager is the association's primary liaison for inquiries and information requests from members and prospects.
Primary Responsibilities
- In conjunction with the VP of Membership, assess current membership engagement strategies and identify new and innovative approaches to outreach.
- In conjunction with the VP of Membership and Chapter Relations, develop and execute membership engagement strategies.
- Develop tracking and oversight processes that ensure membership engagement strategies are evaluated.
- In conjunction with the VP of Membership and Chapter Relations, identify innovative approaches to gauging member satisfaction and identify new program / services that are of value.
- In conjunction with the VP of Membership and Chapter Relations and the department's staff, develop annual membership plan.
- Process and ensure membership applications are processed through completion in a timely manner including follow up with applicants to reconcile accounts with unpaid dues and fees or seek authorization to process payment for corrected dues amounts.
- Enter and maintain member and non-member records in the association's membership database.
- Serves as back up for inquiries received via phone, email, the Membership general email inbox and the Member Center email inbox.
- Process membership transfers and organization changes both with and without payments.
- Manage outreach and communications to confirm, welcome, and onboard all new members.
- Regularly verify receipt of or follow up for supporting documentation required for student and Developing Leader memberships.
- Update membership applications and set up invoices to conduct special recruitment campaigns and ensure they reflect appropriate chapter dues rates.
- Support annual renewal campaign through outreach and follow up to members.
- Test and provide feedback on database processes, procedures and updates related to membership functions.
- Manage and oversee the NAIOP and Prologis Student Scholarship program.
- Manage Chapter Sponsorship program and creation of invoices in conjunction with Membership Coordinator.
- Manage and oversee the Deduplication process of member records.
- Works in collaboration with the marketing and communications team to develop needed database lists for membership related initiatives.

3-5 + years' experience working in associations / membership organization(s).Strategic mindset : ability to envision and articulate new member services, products and communication methods that would enhance value.Desire to grow and stretch their skillset; ability to both lead more junior employees and be mentored by more tenured employees.Proficiency / experience working with association management system(s).Excellent customer service.Strong verbal and written communications skills.Demonstrated attention to detail and accuracy.Adaptability in a multi-tasking environment.Bachelor's degree.J-18808-Ljbffr
