Responsibilities :

• Promote and enforce safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment for all employees and customers.
• Create a superior customer service experience to drive store growth, increase sales, and enhance profitability.
• Provide daily leadership and foster a culture of employee engagement.
• Partner with teammates to drive company initiatives and ensure seamless store operations.
• Lead and support a successful team, managing our fast-paced retail environment.
• Maximize sales, profits, and customer service through effective store management.
• Train, coach, and engage team members to deliver outstanding customer care.
• Manage inventory protection, asset management, and operational and safety issues.
• Ensure the cleanliness and readiness of delivery vehicles, sales floor, stock room, and outside areas.
• Drive NAPA operational and marketing programs, continuously improving processes and procedures.
• Grow customer relationships, assist with sales / service questions, and ensure a positive experience in-store and over the phone.
• Perform other duties as assigned

Education and Experience :

• High school diploma or equivalent required; technical or trade school courses or degree completion preferred.
• Valid Driver’s license and satisfactory Motor Vehicle Record required for operating company vehicles.
• Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Experience in the automotive aftermarket service industry or DIY automotive hobbies, or a willingness to learn.
• Passion for delivering excellent customer care and building long-term relationships.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and complex environment.
• Knowledge of cataloging and inventory management systems.
• Strong problem-solving skills, able to diagnose issues and recommend effective solutions.
• Ability to interpret and explain instructions, processes, and policies, and recommend action plans to resolve operational problems.
• Flexibility, integrity, and confidentiality.
• Regularly lift and / or move 10 pounds, frequently lift and / or move 25 pounds and occasionally lift and / or move 40 pounds.

Ability to lift 60lbs in some situations

• Professional demeanor, able to handle pressure, treat others with respect, and follow through on commitments.
• Superior customer service skills for both internal and external clients, customers, and employees.
