The Senior Manager of Learning & Development is responsible for designing, developing, implementing, and evaluating employee development and global leadership programs. This role ensures end-to-end program management and alignment with organizational goals and collaborates across teams within and beyond Talent Development. The position leads a global team supporting leadership development initiatives and contributes to broader Talent and Learning & Development priorities.
Key responsibilities include :
- Conducting organizational learning needs analysis through consultation with leadership and HR, data analysis, and research.
- Overseeing the design, development, and maintenance of learning programs for the Alight India population and supporting optimization across global teams.
- Leading a team responsible for planning, designing, facilitating, and administering leadership development initiatives such as webinars, roundtables, workshops, and coaching sessions.
- Evaluating existing learning programs and recommending improvements based on evolving organizational priorities.
- Defining clear learning objectives and supporting an environment that encourages continuous development.
- Collaborating with internal experts and external partners to develop learning solutions aligned with business needs.
- Managing and updating enterprise-level onboarding content and experiences in response to organizational changes.
- Measuring the effectiveness and ROI of learning initiatives using relevant metrics and data.
- Overseeing projects using sound project management practices, including stakeholder engagement, logistics, budgeting, and administration.
- Keeping current with learning and development methodologies and trends to enhance organizational learning strategies.
- Supporting the development of a culture that values continuous learning.
Qualifications :
Bachelor's degree in Learning & Development, Organizational Development, Human Resources, Industrial Relations, or a related field.Strong facilitation, consulting, and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport across organizational levels.Proficiency in Microsoft Office and learning content development tools such as Articulate and Camtasia.Experience managing global learning programs across diverse regions.Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects with flexibility and attention to quality in a dynamic environment.Capable of working both independently and collaboratively.Skilled in virtual facilitation tools such as MS Teams, including breakout rooms, polling, and whiteboards.Demonstrated problem-solving, communication, and project management capabilities.Proficient in evaluating learning data and providing actionable insights.Detail-oriented with strong analytical thinking and organizational skills.
