Job Summary

The Process Line Supervisor directs and manages all aspects of the process line, including production, labor, quality, safety, and efficiency. This role ensures daily staffing needs are met, provides leadership and training to the production team, and drives continuous improvement. A strong focus on product and personal safety is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum Qualifications : at least five years of experience in a manufacturing or production environment, preferably in poultry or further processing.
• Proven track record of supervising or leading a team.
• Knowledge and experience with production line equipment such as Volume Metering Systems, Nothum Breaders, Batter Pro systems, Fryers, Ovens, Transfer Belts, and Scan Guns.
• Strong computer skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, and ERP systems (e.g., M3, Infinity, Insperity).
• Flexibility to work 2nd shift and adapt to scheduling changes.
• Highly organized, results-driven, and committed to continuous improvement.

Work Environment

This position requires working on the production floor in a cold environment (approximately 40°F). The employee will be exposed to moderate noise levels, fast-paced operations, moving machinery, wet and dry areas, and must wear PPE at all times. The role requires interaction with employees, contractors, and supervisors in a dynamic manufacturing setting.

Physical Demands

The role requires standing and walking for extended periods, often over eight hours per shift. The employee must be able to use hands, fingers, arms, and reach as part of daily tasks. The position involves lifting and moving up to 25 pounds regularly and up to 50 pounds occasionally. Visual requirements include the ability to see up close and at a distance, and to adjust focus. Repetitive movement, bending, twisting, and climbing may be required.
