Janitorial Operations Manager (2nd Shift)

Position Summary : NSG, Inc. is seeking a motivated and experienced Janitorial Operations Manager to oversee the daily operations of our janitorial division on 2nd shift. The ideal candidate will manage operational schedules, ensure quality control, maintain customer satisfaction, and manage staff effectively. This role requires the ability to drive to all accounts in the Greater Cincinnati area and be available to work primarily 4 : 00 p.m. - 12 : 00 a.m., Monday-Friday.

Key Responsibilities :

Manage janitorial division operations and enforce company policies and procedures.

Conduct regular site inspections of cleaners, day porters, floor techs, and other team members to ensure quality performance.

Ensure all scheduled assignments are covered and coordinate flex cleaners as needed.

Partner with the Janitorial General Manager to review cleaning specifications and processes for new and existing clients.

Oversee and support special projects, including floor care, deep cleaning, and other detailed assignments.

Maintain accurate employee timecards and ensure payroll deadlines are met.

Communicate with senior management, building engineers, and other departments as needed.

Monitor equipment usage and supply levels, coordinating repairs or reorders as necessary.

Coach, evaluate, and, when necessary, take corrective action with staff in accordance with company policy.

Prepare incident and investigation reports as required.

Qualifications :

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Strong leadership and interpersonal abilities.

Customer-focused approach with a professional demeanor.

Highly organized and reliable; able to work independently.

Proficient with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel), timekeeping, and quality assurance software.

Valid driver's license.

Education & Experience :

High school diploma required.

Minimum of 2 years of experience in the janitorial industry.

Minimum of 2 years in a supervisory or management role.

Physical Requirements & Schedule :

Monday–Friday, 4 : 00 PM – 12 : 00 AM.

Occasional weekend or holiday work as needed.

Frequent walking, standing, and on-site travel.
