Maple Crest is looking for a Staffing Coordinator! This is a unique opportunity to join our team and a critical role in providing the quality, compassionate care that our team provides our residents! As a Staffing Coordinator , you'll create the nursing and dietary master schedules as required by our DON and Administrator in accordance with facility policy;

as well as fill staffing vacancies in advance to ensure adequate coverage for the Nursing and Dietary depts of Maple Crest.

The Staffing Coordinator will also check and respond to voicemails, emails, and texts throughout the day; verify missed timeclock punches, and work with payroll.

Communication and collaboration with the payroll team, Administrator, DON, and other dept leaders, will be critical in communicating any concerns or to verify employee clocking's are accurate.

You'll also correspond with nursing agencies throughout the day, verifying schedule needs and the submission of needs. This will also include communicating with the agencies, if the staff that are provided by that agency do not arrive for their shift.

What You Need :

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Prior scheduling experience in long-term care or a healthcare setting is preferred.
• Must demonstrate a positive attitude, self-awareness and emotional maturity, to promote helpful, respectful, and supportive communications with all.
• Must be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prone to frequent interruptions and stress associated with the pressures of the position.
• M u st have strong background working with computer systems such as Microsoft Office and scheduling software; with demonstrated ability to use computer programs for training and communication.
• CNA certification is a plus!
