About The Position

Job Title : Registered Nurse

Experience : Minimum of 12 months of prior experience in psychiatric nursing preferred

License : Registered Nurse

Certifications : BLS required

Must-Have : Experience with CIWA / COWS, UAs

Description :

Inpatient substance abuse treatment facility for adults.

Must be able to set and hold firm empathic boundaries.

Nurse-to-patient ratio on night shift is one nurse.

From 7 PM to 11 PM, two to three behavioral health assistants are on shift.

From 11 PM to 7 AM, one behavioral health assistant is on shift.

Voluntary patients receive care without restraints.

An administrator and a doctor are on call at all times.

Visiting hours occur on Sundays from 1 PM to 4 PM.

The dress code requires scrubs.
