Essential Duties and Responsibilities :

Work directly with clients both in and out of the office

Limited travel may be required

Must be prepared to visit local clients on a monthly, quarterly or annual basis

Acknowledges deadlines; prioritizes work in relation to filing deadlines

Working knowledge of Sage and QuickBooks accounting programs.

Prepare a variety of reports including compiled and reviewed financial statements, and tax returns including Forms 1120, 1120S, 1065, 940, 941, 1099 etc.

Prepares miscellaneous correspondence to clients and Internal Revenue Service

Perform other duties as required.

Qualifications :

Proficient in Microsoft Office programs with emphasis on Excel

Prior CPA firm experience preferred

Knowledge of Peachtree accounting software

Ability to work independently with excellent organization skills

Meticulous attention to detail; commitment to producing quality work; deadline conscious

Obtains additional background and information as needed to complete reports

Ability to read, write, and speak English clearly and distinctly.
