Sr Data Analyst

The Marwood Group is a leading healthcare advisory and research firm headquartered in New York City with offices in Washington, D.C. and London, England. Marwood Advisory is based out of the NYC office and works with private equity, corporate healthcare, lenders, investment banks, law firms, and other healthcare-focused entities to provide diligence services on prospective transactions and advise their corporate strategies.

The Senior Data Analyst will join a growing analytics team and play a key role in building and scaling Marwood's data capabilities across a broad range of engagements. This individual will act as a thought partner to Marwood's consulting teams and subject matter experts, applying technical skills, industry knowledge, and intellectual curiosity to develop data-driven analyses and insights that inform healthcare investors and organizations.

Some of the things you'll do :

• Collaborate with in-house healthcare experts to create new analyses and tools for client engagements, using a combination of public, proprietary, and client-specific data sources.
• Conduct research and analysis across industry literature, government and commercial datasets, and company financial information to develop a deep understanding of the U.S. healthcare services landscape and related data.
• Work creatively to solve novel client questions by leveraging existing data sources in new and insightful ways.
• Design, develop, and manage dashboards on Marwood's internal self-service analytics platform for key internal stakeholders.
• Help improve internal processes related to data management, quality control, and documentation.
