Oversee residents’ overall health and wellness programs.Conduct initial and ongoing health assessments.Create and update individualized care / service plans.Monitor residents for changes in condition and coordinate interventions.Serve as liaison between residents, families, and healthcare providers.Ensure complaince with regulationsManage medication administration systems and auditsRespond to emergencies and provide direct care when neededSupervise nursing staff, caregivers, and medication aides.Ensure compliance with state regulations, facility policies, and standards of care.Hire, train, and mentor wellness / nursing staff.Schedule and manage staffing to ensure adequate coverage.Provide ongoing staff education on resident care, safety, and wellness practices.Wellness Director Qualifications :
A minimum of 3-5 years of experience working in eldercare service or nursing experience with demonstrated knowledge of residential care, eldercare, and customer service principles and practices.Must be an LPN or Registered Nurse.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to develop, implement, and evaluate wellness programs.A good understanding of health and well-being issues.Knowledge of health promotion strategies.Ability to work collaboratively with multiple stakeholders.Computer literacy.Woodlake Legacy Senior Living is an equal opportunity employer and makes employment decisions on the basis of merit.
