Service Engineer

Service Engineer – Marine Davit Systems We’re looking for a skilled Service Engineer to join our team and support our customers with service, maintenance, and inspections of hydraulic davit systems used on ships and at shipyards. This role combines technical expertise with customer-facing work and offers opportunities for travel and professional development. What You’ll Do Perform service, repairs, installations, and start-ups of davit systems (hydraulic with some electrical components). Carry out annual inspections in line with company guidelines and international rules (SOLAS, NDM, IMO). Prepare accurate service reports and related documentation. Assist with service quotes and participate in product follow-up with suppliers. Support product improvement, standardization, and optimization efforts. Work safely, maintain quality standards, and contribute to a collaborative team environment. What We’re Looking For Hands-on service engineering experience (preferred). Strong background in hydraulic systems; electrical knowledge is a plus. Willingness and ability to travel frequently within the U.S., with occasional international trips for customer support and training at our European factory. Strong problem-solving skills and a professional approach when working with customers. Experience working in ISO-certified and safety-driven environments is a plus.
