Staff Accountant

Torden is seeking a Staff Accountant to work in our Tiverton, Rhode Island office. Reporting to the Controller, the Staff Accountant will provide entry-level accounting and financial support. The position works closely with other accounting personnel, internal departments, and external parties. Responsibilities will include :

• Process and reconcile credit card payments and code them to proper accounts.
• Reconcile general ledger accounts as needed.
• Process monthly bank reconciliations.
• Assist with financial statement reviews.
• Assist the Controller with month-end closing process.
• Additional duties as assigned.
