Busser / Food Runner Needed Daytime Hours

Clean tables and ensure that fresh mats, silverware,  glasses and napkins are placed (this responsibility is shared with the waiters / waitresses)

Remove soiled dishware, glassware and flatware and deliver it to the washing area

Clean and polish counters and furniture and mop and sweep floors (in the kitchen area keep counters cleaned, front refrigerators cleaned and polished, ice machines cleaned)

Clean up spilled food and ensure that floors and counter surfaces are sanitized

Provide waiters with information of new customer arrival especially in during peak hours

Make sure that the restaurant area is clean at all times

Ensure that buffet tables are properly bussed and replenished as soon as any item runs out

Stock cabinets and serving areas with items such as ketchup, mustard and extra sets of flatware

Serve butter and bread and ensure that there is constant supply of ice and drinking water for customers

Clean and organize dishes in the kitchen (keep a stack of a minimum 20 plates with doilies) and expedite orders on request from waiters and servers

Ensure that sufficient restaurant supplies such as linen, condiments and napkins are available at all times

Assist in clearing tables after each course and bussing them with fresh plates and glasses
