About the Role :

As a Clinical Laboratory Technologist, you ll play a vital role in performing diagnostic testing on body fluids to aid in the treatment and care of patients. You ll ensure timely, accurate results while maintaining safety and regulatory standards, and may also be called upon to take on Charge Technologist duties if qualified.

Responsibilities :

Conduct diagnostic testing on patient specimens

Ensure proper specimen handling, including those for delayed analysis

Prioritize and organize workload to meet critical testing timelines

Communicate effectively with clinical teams, ensuring prompt reporting of results

Perform quality control, safety checks, and assist with lab operations

Potentially assume Charge Technologist duties (for those with 6+ years experience), including oversight of emergency scheduling, instrument maintenance authorization, and communication with leadership
