Who we are looking for:

* Provide 1:1 patient care in 60-minute treatment sessions, focusing on functional rehabilitation for adults with neurological injuries

* Collaborate closely with an interdisciplinary team of passionate, skilled therapists to focus on patient-centered outcomes

* Provide personalized care in an innovative outpatient setting utilizing the latest technology and equipment

Responsibilities

* Assist patients in exercise, ambulation, functional activities, and the application/use of assistive devices in accordance with the treatment plan established by the Physical Therapist

* Assist Physical Therapist in the collection of outcome measures and completion of complex treatment procedures

* Educate patients, families, and other health workers on selected procedures and functional activities as directed by Physical Therapist

* Participate in ongoing program evaluation and development

* Maintain thorough and timely documentation of all care provided

* Maintain working knowledge of and adherence to the APTA Practice Act and Code of Ethics

* Perform other duties as assigned

Additional Job Information

* Degree from a certified physical therapy assistant training program

* Current Physical Therapist Assistant certification and license to practice in state of application

* Minimum of 1 year experience preferred, related to treatment of complex neurological injuries

* Knowledge of complex neurologic injury and orthopedic rehabilitation techniques

* Current CPR certification
