A middle school is seeking a dedicated Special Education Teacher to work full time onsite in Phoenix, AZ, specializing in Intermediate Disabilities for grades 6-8. This contract position supports students within the Sales classroom environment, providing tailored educational instruction and support to meet diverse learning needs.

Key Responsibilities :

• Deliver individualized and group instruction to students with Intermediate Disabilities in grades 6-8.
• Develop and implement IEPs (Individualized Education Programs) aligned with student needs and state standards.
• Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and families to promote inclusive learning.
• Monitor and document student progress, adjusting instructional strategies as necessary.
• Manage classroom behavior and create a supportive, positive environment conducive to learning.
• Participate in team meetings, professional development, and school events.
• Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local special education regulations.
