Workplace Operations Manager

The role will be based in the Mountain View office. This position requires a full-time, onsite presence in Mountain View, CA to ensure the seamless delivery of day-to-day workplace operations and services. The ability to respond to urgent, after-hours issues (24 / 7) is essential to the success of this role. Reporting to the Sr. Manager of Workplace Operations Bay Area HQ, the Workplace Operations Manager serves as a key leader in creating environments that reflect LinkedIn's culture, foster collaboration, and empower employees to do their best work every day.
Responsibilities :
- Supplier Relationship Management
- Oversee IFM partner services (building engineering, janitorial, reception, shipping / receiving, landscaping, etc.).
- Establish and maintain strong partnerships with key vendors, landlords, and property management teams.
- Drive accountability through performance metrics and continuous improvement programs.
- Workplace Services Management
- Deliver a frictionless, welcoming, and high-performing workplace experience for employees and guests.
- Support key programs including food services, events, sustainability, security, transportation, and new hire orientation.
- Serve as liaison between Workplace and cross-functional partners (IT, HR, Finance, Procurement) to align objectives and deliver on commitments.
- Project Scoping / Management
- Manage ad hoc projects related to site improvements, space optimization, and environmental health & safety programs.
- Track schedules, budgets, and stakeholder communication plans to ensure timely, cost-effective, and high-quality delivery.
- Oversee maintenance activities and ensure compliance with safety regulations and internal quality standards.
- Change Management & Optimization
- Use data from site inspections, dashboards, and employee feedback to drive efficiency, innovation, and continuous improvement across IFM programs.
- Translate business priorities into actionable Workplace strategies that align with the Relationship Workplace visioncreating environments that foster connection, belonging, and innovation.
- Oversee and optimize Bay Area service delivery to inform our global strategic playbook.
- Budget Influence & Accountability
- Support development and management of operating and capital budgets in partnership with finance.
- Lead cost optimization initiatives and track vendor performance against financial targets.
- Analyze spend trends to drive efficiency, quality improvement, and risk mitigation.
Basic Qualifications :
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Facilities Management, Corporate Real Estate, Accounting / Finance, or Business Administration.4+ years of real estate or property management experience within a corporate or campus environment.Proven experience managing vendors across multiple service lines.Ability to work onsite full-time and travel within North America as needed.Comfortable walking frequently throughout the campus to oversee service delivery, standing for extended periods, and occasionally lifting, carrying, or moving items weighing up to approximately 25 pounds.Preferred Qualifications :
Experience managing large-scale operations through periods of expansion or transformation.Strong stakeholder relationship-building and collaboration skills.Expertise in preventive and corrective maintenance programs.Financial acumen in budget planning, accrual accounting, and variance reporting.Experience driving sustainability, energy savings, and waste-diversion programs.Familiarity with the Microsoft Suite of applicationsSuggested Skills :

The pay range for this role is $87,000 to $141,000. Actual compensation packages are based on several factors unique to each candidate, including skill set, depth of experience, certifications, and specific work location. The total compensation package for this position may also include an annual performance bonus, stock, benefits, and / or other applicable incentive compensation plans.
