Overview of the Role :
The Compensation Manager is a newly created role within the Alignment Human Resources team. We are looking for someone with Compensation function expertise and experience, to help build and bolster the Compensation infrastructure as we transition to Workday. Flexibility to carve own path by also getting involved in Equity Administration and eventually expanding into other Rewards areas.

The Compensation Manager provides market data and analysis to support our Human Resources Business Partners, the Talent Acquisition team, and business leaders. This role will help drive efforts to enhance our compensation and total rewards infrastructure deliver new compensation related initiatives. This position is a great opportunity to continue to deepen compensation experience, building (not just maintaining) a compensation infrastructure that can grow with the company. Also provides opportunity to get involved with stock grant administration.
Responsibilities :
- Provide and present market data analysis and expertise to internal partners. Analyze survey data, provide guidance to Human Capital colleagues and leaders on questions relating to compensation, job evaluation and market analysis.
- Supporting the annual compensation planning cycle (January-March). Partner with Human Resources colleagues to execute deliverables on time and help identify changes to enhance administrative processes and timelines.
- Support the implementation of compensation programs and tools.
- Leverage existing tools and help determine future technology to improve the access and delivery of compensation data to key decision-makers.
- Evaluate systems and processes and advocate for improvements.
- Create and enhance compensation programs that align with the business objectives, that are scalable for growth
- Partner with the CHRO on executive compensation and work with the Compensation Committee
- Working collaboratively with other HR areas. You will come together to deliver compensation recommendations and support recruitment efforts taking into consideration internal equity and external competitive pay practices.
- Serve as the subject matter expert to ensure pay program compliance, pay equity and efficient administration of compensation programs
Stock Plan Administration :
Support the ongoing administration of our stock plan, in coordination with external vendor and internal Finance partners.Help facilitate the annual grant process, through data gathering, modeling, and supporting the review process.Support the set-up of new grants, vestings, activity and provide reports and analysis to manage the ongoing tracking of key data points.Required Skills and Experiences :
7+ years of Compensation / Total Rewards experience with knowledge of market pricing data and analysis, compensation surveys and managing annual compensation cycles
Bachelor’s degree in a Business or Human Resources related field.Progress towards a CCP designation or other HR-related certification is preferred.High-level proficiency in Excel.Experience with Human Resources technology systems (HRIS, market pricing, annual compensation planning tools)Solid analytical skills and attention to detail which result in sound decisions, solutions, and recommendationsMust possess excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication, time-management, and organizational skillsAbility to be successful in a time-sensitive and fast-paced environment, handle multiple requests and ensure deadlines are metKnowledge of HR principles and practices.Ability to handle superior level of confidentiality concerning employee information.Innovative problem-solving skills.Technology Skills : Strong PC skills and experience in Microsoft Office products.Project Management Skills : Experience in managing projects, with a focus on meeting timelines, collaboration, and results.Executive presence with preparing and / or presenting materials to discuss with senior leadersAnnual Salary : $145,000 - $165,000
