Overview

Renewable AutoCAD Civil 3D Engineering Specialist at WSB. This role focuses on producing civil design documents for wind and solar projects using Civil 3D. The actual pay is based on skills and experience; talk with your recruiter to learn more.

Base pay range : $30.00 / hr - $35.00 / hr

What You Will Do

• Transform initial rough product designs using Civil 3D into working documents.
• Plan and prepare preliminary layouts and detailed final design drawings using engineering notes, sketches, survey base maps, shapefiles, topographic and planimetric mapping.
• Produce a complete set of civil construction plans for wind and solar development under the supervision of a registered engineer, including site plans, roadway alignments, drainage design, site grading, erosion and sediment control plans, construction details, notes, and specifications.
• Complete work in accordance with scope of work, standards and codes required by clients and jurisdictions.
• Complete work within the project schedule.
• Review drawings for completeness, accuracy and quality.
• Organize and maintain revisions of project drawings and related information in a logical, structured plan-set.
• Collaborate with design manager and project team to coordinate efforts; use Microsoft Teams for document management.
• Execute project work on multiple projects and adapt focus quickly; work independently or as part of a multidisciplinary team with guidance from design managers and engineers.
• Demonstrate attention to detail; familiarity with producing construction documents including plan and profile sheets, site plans, cross sections, notes, etc.
• Experience with surface and corridor creation, pipe networks, grading tools, Sheet Set Manager (SSM) procedures and properties, and Civil 3D project organization and drawing structure.
• Adhere to CAD standards and use standardized programs to minimize design hours.
