We value your contribution and the impact you have on patient lives. As an MRI Imaging Specialist, you will perform MRI scans and assist in diagnosis and treatment according to the standards set by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists.
Prepare patients for MRI procedures, providing clear instructions to ensure comfort and cooperation.Document all procedures accurately in forms, logs, and electronic systems.Administer contrast materials using established protocols.Produce high-quality diagnostic scans while ensuring patient safety and well-being.Label images correctly and communicate relevant information to radiologists promptly.What qualifications will you need?
A minimum of one year of experience as a Radiology Technologist in an acute care setting.Preferred one year of experience specifically in performing MRI procedures.Graduation from an AMA-approved program in Radiologic Technology.Completion of courses in MRI technology and cross-sectional anatomy.Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.Certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists in Magnetic Resonance Imaging (ARRT (MR)).St. David's Medical Center is a comprehensive facility with three locations and includes a 371-bed acute care hospital and a renowned Level IV Neonatal Intensive Care Unit among other specialized services.
