Eaton’s EPG CHD EP Americas division wants you on board as a Facility Systems Maintenance Specialist for our third shift. Work hours are conveniently set from Monday to Friday, 10 : 30 pm to 6 : 30 am. Enjoy a competitive rate starting at $27.96 per hour, with an additional $.60 per hour for night shifts. We even offer hourly wage increments at 45 and 90 days!
Your Role :
Your responsibilities include ensuring our facility's machinery runs smoothly, contributing significantly to the company's mission of innovation and excellence.
Key Tasks :
- Execute troubleshooting, corrective, and preventive maintenance tasks for plant equipment.
- Inspect and observe machinery to maintain optimal functions.
- Carry out maintenance and repairs on machinery including conveyor belts, motors, and electrical systems.
- Conduct basic electrical troubleshooting on circuits and power systems.
- Strictly follow safety protocols and report problems promptly.
- Engage proactively in safety committees and initiatives.
- Keep detailed records of maintenance activities and usage of spare parts.
- Ensure all maintenance tools and equipment are in good condition and secure.
- Collaborate with operation teams to maximize machinery uptime and efficiency.
- Share knowledge through training and cross-training to promote team learning.
What You Need :
Minimum Qualifications :
At least three years of experience in maintenance within manufacturing settings.Comfort with current technology including laptops and tablets.Solid understanding of OSHA and NFPA-70E.Experience with PLCs and mechanical systems.Proficiency in reading blueprints and electrical schematics.Must be able to work in the United States without corporate sponsorship now and within the future No relocation benefit is being offered for this position. Certifications in electromechanics or related fields.CNC machining experience.Technical Expertise :
Problem-solving in confined spaces and heights using safety gear.Proficiency in hydraulic and pneumatic systems as well as mechanical troubleshooting.Basic English literacy and computer skills.Ability to work with molten metal and adapt to challenging industrial environments.Effective communication skills to coordinate with cross-functional teams.
