Essential Functions and Primary Duties

• Assist engagement teams with month-end closing procedures
• Assist the client with daily accounting services as needed
• Has direct communication with clients to perform work and address clients' needs and questions
• Prepare and maintain supporting schedules and reconciliations for most asset / liability accounts and select revenue and expense accounts
• Reconcile clients' bank accounts
• Prepare required journal entries, including but not limited to payroll, depreciation, and expensing of prepaid items
• Assist with financial statement and supplemental report preparation
• Process Accounts Payable and check requests on a recurring basis, review general ledger to ensure consistency and accuracy of coding
• Process Accounts Receivable invoices and maintain AR system records for clients : general ledger coding review for accuracy and consistency, process cash receipts on a recurring basis
• Assist engagement team with external audit and 990 / tax filings at year end by preparing schedules, providing explanations of supporting materials and procedures, and preparing any other necessary information
• Assist engagement team with year-end vendor review for 1099 processing
• Perform self-review to ensure accuracy of work
• Additional responsibilities as assigned

The annual salary target for this job in this market is $70,000-80,000. The specific compensation for this role will be determined based on the education, experience, and skillset of the individual selected for this position. The compensation above is not representative of an employee's total compensation.
