TRS Craft Services is immediately seeking Site Managers for our client, an international provider of high-quality event services and structures.
Scope of Work
Under the direction of the Logistics Manager or onsite assigned field manager performs duties as assigned within designated work area.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Duties and responsibilities may be expanded as management may deem necessary from time to time.
Customer Service
Will make contact with client upon arrival at event siteWill address any questions or concerns the client may haveProblem solves to ensure client satisfactionPrioritizes the steps of the installation for maximum efficiencyProblem solves with staff to maintain production scheduleRecommends new products and methods to increase capacity, profit and employee / customer satisfactionPerforms final walk through and creates punch listManages a staff of personnel
Required to supervise up to four team on event siteRecommends staff for promotion and pay increasesAbility to discipline staffReports hours for all staff membersEnsures proper training of staffCommunicates with Logistics Manager / EM any issues with personnel or loading to optimize efficiency for warehouse and / or eventsPrioritizes the steps of the installation for maximum efficiencySupervise long-term installationsParticipate in site / job planningPerform daily tool box talksSafety
Complete knowledge of company safety procedures and programsResponsible for reporting any accidents associated with job or personnelInsures that all employees adhere to company and OSHA safety policiesLoad and unloads material within the warehouse or at the event site
Responsible for loading / unloading trucks while ensuring all material handling processes are adhered toKeeps accurate records
Notes changes to customer contracts such as additional inventory delivered or services performed and communicates information back to appropriate managerCompletes driver logs and follows all DOT regulations if applicableUpdate and maintain job foldersKnowledge
Ability to install tents up to 50m in width with the exception of Uni FlexAbility to install all custom structuresAdvanced understanding of carpentry skillsComplete knowledge of frame tents, pole tents, Maxi Flex tents, and Ultra Flex tentsIntermediate knowledge of Uni Flex tentsComplete knowledge of installation of fully leveled floorAbility to read and understand all diagrams and floor plansQUALIFICATION

Education and / or Experience
Relevant work experienceHigh School Diploma / GED preferredPrevious experience as a Crew LeaderLanguage Skills
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one setting or within a group atmosphere to other employees of the organization.Fluent in EnglishBilingual in Spanish preferredOther Qualifications
Valid driver’s license preferredAbility to drive box truckForklift certification which includes certification of a 10,000 lb. forkliftAerial Work Platform CertificationAbility to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
