Food Service Worker
Lowell School Department is currently hiring for Cafeteria Workers. .
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
To serve the students and staff nutritious and attractive meals in an atmosphere of
efficiency, cleanliness and warmth while helping to advance the mission and vision of
Lowell Public Schools.
School foodservice employees in an individual school are responsible for the preparation
and serving of all menu items.
- Light prep work, portioning menu items and assisting students with meal selection.
- Additional responsibilities include cleaning and dishwashing, as well as the care of some
equipment.
OTHER REQUIRMENTS
- Background and Drug Test
- Customer service is an important aspect of this position.
EDUCATION
High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
