We are looking for an experienced Senior Accountant to join our team in Brea, California. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing key financial operations, ensuring accuracy in reporting, and providing proactive support to the accounting department. This position requires a highly motivated individual with strong technical skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.

Responsibilities :

• Handle month-end close processes, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and deadlines.
• Maintain and reconcile the general ledger, including preparing journal entries and reviewing account balances.
• Perform account and bank reconciliations to ensure financial accuracy and resolve discrepancies.
• Support audits by consolidating reports, preparing required documentation, and addressing inquiries.
• Assist in the review of tax returns and ensure timely submission of necessary documents.
• Utilize advanced Excel skills, including macros, to streamline reporting and analysis tasks.
• Respond promptly to requests from accounts payable and other departments to support operational needs.
• Collaborate closely with financial leaders to provide insights and assist with decision-making processes.
• Work with Sage Intacct software to manage financial data and reporting effectively.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3-4 years of accounting experience with a focus on accuracy and reliability, preferably in a senior role.
• Proficiency in advanced Excel functions such as macros, pivot tables, and complex formulas.
• Strong understanding of general ledger, journal entries, and account reconciliation processes.
• Experience with Sage Intacct or similar accounting software is highly desirable.
• Exceptional attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• A proactive and self-motivated approach to work, with a willingness to work extended hours when needed.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills to collaborate effectively across teams.
