Job Description and Duties
This position is Hybrid and eligible for telework up to three (3) days a week, in accordance with the Statewide Telework Policy, and will be required to report to the office as needed / required.
The successful candidate must reside in California upon appointment.

Under the general supervision of the State Facilities Manager I (SFM I), the Staff Space Planner in Asset Management Branch's Real Estate Leasing & Planning Section, performs the most complex and difficult assignments and project management for various types offacilities to be leased for state occupancy by developing project exhibits and specifications for lease documents, utilizing sophisticated planning analysis and applying expert planning skills in accordance with the state's program purpose and budget, the state administrative manual (SAM), the state and department policies and procedures, the Space Planning Policy and Procedure Manual, various federal, state and local codes and regulations and best industry practices.
This position is designated under the Conflict of Interest Code. The position is responsible for making or participating in the making of governmental decisions that may potentially have a material effect on personal financial interests.
The appointee is required to complete Form 700 within 30 days of appointment.
