Laboratory Technician – Microbiology

Qualifications :

• Relevant microbiology laboratory experience preferred strong understanding and educational foundation in the biological sciences
• Degree in microbiology cell biology molecular biology or related scientific discipline preferred
• 2 years of industry experience preferred in lieu of college degree
• Strong familiarity with microbiological practices methods techniques and procedures
• Experience working within an established quality system (i.e. ISO 17025) preferred
• Ability to stand and work on the feet for extended periods in a laboratory environment
• Detailed-oriented with strong analytical and organizational skills.
• Strong written verbal and presentation skills along with demonstrated ability to collaborate with others.
• Demonstrate strong client service skills teamwork and collaboration
• Strong computer scientific and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team self-motivation adaptability and a positive attitude
• Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship

Additional Information :

Position is full-time Monday to Friday 8 : 00am - 5 : 00pm. Candidates currently living within a commutable distance of  Richmond VA  are encouraged to apply.
