We're looking for a Senior Red Hat Linux Engineer who has expert knowledge of RHEL and familiarity with Microsoft Azure to perform operations and engineering tasks in support of cloud migration and modernization.

As a senior engineer on our project, you'll be part of a highly skilled team of IT professionals from all domains. You will perform your work according to project timelines and report status regularly to U.

S. Government clients. You'll provide your customers insight into their computing systems through monitoring and performance management.

Your system administrator expertise will be vital as you identify problem areas and opportunities for improvement in a mission-critical network.

You'll help your team better understand the network by turning metrics into information and explaining their meaning.

This is an opportunity to broaden your skillset into areas like Azure Gov Cloud, DoD security processes, and zero trust. We focus on growing as a team, so you'll share your expertise through leadership and mentoring as you help the team work through challenges and develop new methodologies.

As a senior engineer, you'll identify new opportunities to modernize the computing systems so your clients achieve their goals.

You Have :

Experience with Microsoft Azure cloud

Knowledge of Red Hat Enterprise Linux

Top Secret clearance

HS diploma or GED

Ability to obtain DoD 8570 IAT III Certification, including CISSP or CASP+, within 60 days of hire

Nice If You Have :

Knowledge of DoD IT systems, including STIGs and SRGs

Ability to perform Cloud migrations from on-premise RHEL systems

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Cybersecurity, or a related field

Red Hat Certified Engineer (RHCE) Certification

Clearance :

Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information;

Top Secret clearance is required.

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements.

The projected compensation range for this position is $75,600.00 to $172,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
