The Role
The Account Director Complex Channel Sales will lead and close advanced solution opportunities through Lumen's Channel Partners, using consultative selling skills and a strong understanding of the advanced solutions on the Lumen Platform (network, security, and collaboration solutions) to consistently achieve quota attainment. This is a relationship-driven role requiring exceptional interpersonal skills to influence, motivate, and convince partners and customers to act. The ideal candidate is both strategic and decisiveeffective at assessing data, acting quickly, and operating with organizational excellence to deliver results and growth across the partner ecosystem.
The Main Responsibilities
What We Look For in a Candidate
Bachelor's degree or equivalent education and / or 5+ years of experience selling network, security, and collaboration solutions to businesses. Proven experience leading and closing complex sales opportunities and consistently meeting or exceeding monthly sales quotas. Demonstrated success in building and influencing strong relationships with partners and customers to drive joint success. Strong analytical and organizational skills with the ability to assess data and act with urgency to achieve business outcomes. Experience in customer success with a sales hybrid element, blending post-sale engagement with proactive growth and retention strategies. Proficiency in MS Office Products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.). Strong presentation skills for both small and large groups.
Preferred Qualifications : Selling and supporting within an indirect channel or partner based sales program for IT Organizations, Independent Software Vendors, PaaS, IaaS, VAR's, System Integrators and telecommunications agents.
Compensation
This information reflects the anticipated base salary range for this position based on current national data. Minimums and maximums may vary based on location. Individual pay is based on skills, experience and other relevant factors. Location Based Pay Ranges $89,303 - $119,070 in these states : AL AR AZ FL GA IA ID IN KS KY LA ME MO MS MT ND NE NM OH OK PA SC SD TN UT VT WI WV WY $93,776 - $125,024 in these states : CO HI MI MN NC NH NV OR RI $98,238 - $130,977 in these states : AK CA CT DC DE IL MA MD NJ NY TX VA WA
